The birth of a child is a joyous occasion for every family and at this happy moment Muslims are expected to remember the less privileged people. When a baby is born, it is a Sunnah to perform Aqeeqah on seventh day of birth by slaughtering two goats or sheep for a baby boy and one goat or sheep for a baby girl.
As part of our Food Distribution Program, Al-Mustafa Welfare Society plays the role of a bridge between the people who want to do the animal sacrifice and the needy people who normally cannot afford the luxury of eating meat. We sacrifice animals on behalf of the people (mostly who live abroad) and distribute the meat among the needy and deserving people throughout Pakistan.
